My intention through photographic activities is to change our ordinary life into an amusing delightful world.

The object I always choose is those who are close to my life as friends, office workers, high school girls.
Through that, my approach rests on “photograph persists in enjoying our ordinary life”, and I intend to express my works
without forgetting the exciting feeling that I had when I started my photography.

The object that arouses my interest is something symbolized and that hides its individuality, as business suits and school uniforms.
It stands for my own private motivation as a respect to my father who’s passed away, and as a complex I had at my adolescent life.
Based on these intentions, I try to produce the world that has been likely to exist but hasn’t, through producing character
in my objects and symbolizing its individuality that hasn’t been seen in our society.

Even in daily ordinary life, there can be produced a new change in the world by adding one action or by taking a look from other point of view.
I make much of the pleasant during shooting session, more than of artificial twist of world by CG or composite technology.
The object I choose is Japanese unique, and I intend to show them as present Japanese thing with much humor for foreigners.
